I tried this on my second playthrough and despite pausing every time I consulted the video and following it exactly (along with some minor improvements of my own) this achievement didn't unlock for me. Just be aware that in the video (and in pretty much every other video I've consulted), it says you can pause the game as needed and the timer will pause, allowing you to follow along with a video as you play. The video in the " Devotion" achievement will get you through the game in under 30 minutes. I finished it in around 20 minutes but that was my third playthrough, so I knew the game by heart by that point. The 30 minute time limit is decently strict, but if you're familiar with the game you can finish the game under 30 minutes easily. Be aware that the timer for this starts right as the game starts, when you're shown the developer and such, and the timer ends when the credits start to roll. It's still a very cool game and also some very easy gamerscore as well, so well worth a play.Īs the description says, you have to complete the game from start to finish in under 30 minutes. Unfortunately it's got a pretty steep price for a puzzle game that can potentially be completed in around an hour. Gorogoa is a beautiful, interesting, and unique puzzle game that will definitely be unlike anything you've played before. After beating the game a second time to obtain those two achievements, that'll wrap up your completion. Now you'll have to replay the game from the beginning, and even if you're confident you should definitely still follow the video guide in the " Devotion" achievement solution because it's very easy to mess up and use more than 500 moves or take more than 30 minutes. After beating the game, you can quickly mop up " First Try" and " Right Wrong" from chapter select, and then beat the 2012 demo too. It'll likely take 1-1.5 hours if you go in blind. If you want to actually play the game and enjoy it (which I highly recommend), then just play through and beat the game. Upon completing the game, go back to chapter 3 to knock out the " Right Wrong" achievement, then use chapter select to play the short 2012 demo, and that will wrap up your completion. Make sure you pause while you follow along and make sure you follow it exactly so you complete the game in under 30 minutes and less than 500 moves. There you'll find a video guide that you can follow. If you are just playing this game for achievements, then jump right to the " Devotion" achievement solution. The time and move limits are pretty tight, but with a guide to follow it won't be difficult at all.
To obtain all of the achievements, you'll have to beat the game in under half an hour, beat it in less than 500 moves, perform two specific actions for miscellaneous achievements, and beat the 2012 demo. You'll witness this story as you manipulate pictures to progress the story. A dragon has come to your town and in order to get rid of it, you'll have to collect 5 fruits and offer them to the dragon. It's hard to describe in words and there isn't really anything I can compare it to, because it's a unique and interesting concept for a game.
Gorogoa is a beautifully hand-drawn puzzle game where the gameplay involves shifting and overlaying pictures in order to progress scenes and create actions.
